This Privacy Policy describes how Marnin SA (hereinafter “we” or “Marnin”) collects, uses, and protects the personal data of visitors and customers who use the marnin.ch website, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (FADP) and its related ordinances.

4.1 Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Our website uses Google Analytics 4 for statistical analysis of site usage.
- Processing is based on our legitimate interest in improving the website.
- IP addresses are anonymized.
- We do not use Google advertising features.
Google may process data in the United States. However, IP anonymization and our configuration significantly reduce the possibility of identifying users.
4.2 Payments via PostFinance Checkout
To process payments, we use the PostFinance Checkout service. Only the data necessary for carrying out the payment (amount, currency, card or account data) is transmitted. No payment data is stored on our servers.
4.3 Campaign Monitor (newsletter)
If the user consents to receiving our newsletter, their e-mail address is transmitted to Campaign Monitor, our service provider for sending commercial communications.
- Only the e-mail address is transmitted, no other personal data.
- The user may unsubscribe at any time via the link included in each newsletter.
5. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes listed:
- Order data: to comply with legal obligations (generally 10 years)
- Newsletter data: until consent is withdrawn
6. Data disclosure
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties, except:
- when necessary to fulfil the contract (e.g., couriers, PostFinance)
- when the user has given consent (newsletter)
- when required by law
